Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 June 2026
Welcome to MyChara. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully alongside our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.
1. Who we are
MyChara is a community questions-and-answers service built in Donegal, Ireland. These terms form a legal agreement between you and MyChara.
2. Using MyChara
You must be at least 16 years old to use MyChara. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything posted from your account. You agree to use MyChara lawfully and in line with our Community Guidelines.
3. Anonymous posting
MyChara allows questions and answers to be posted anonymously to other members. Anonymity to other users does not remove your responsibility for what you post, and content may still be linked to your account internally for safety and moderation purposes.
4. Content and conduct
You retain ownership of the content you post, but grant MyChara a licence to display and distribute it within the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms or our Community Guidelines.
5. Subscriptions and payments
MyChara is offered on a free trial followed by a paid subscription. Pricing is shown in the app and on our website. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
6. Disclaimer
Answers on MyChara are provided by members of the community and are not professional advice. Always seek qualified professional guidance for medical, legal, financial or safety matters.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will let you know within the app or by email. Continuing to use MyChara after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to info@MyChara.ie.
This is a starting template and not legal advice. Please have it reviewed by a qualified solicitor before launch to ensure it meets your obligations under Irish and EU law.
